Gifts 1901-2000

1901.  The beauty of how art can always be fixed.
1902.  Headache gone.
1903.  Coupons.
1904.  Groceries.
1905.  Sick time.
1906.  Seeing Sindy at Kroger.
1907.  Double fuel points.
1908.  Still enjoying my job.
1909.  Easy thinking days allowing me to listen to audio books.
1910.  Fall leaves.
1911.  40 minutes of walk time.
1912.  Dinner, painting, chatter, laughter, prayer with Sindy.
1913.  Not rear ending the truck.
1914.  Emails finished.
1915.  Ability to paint.
1916.  Baking dish falling right side up in hot oven, disaster 
           thwarted.
1917.  Therapy, massage thingy.
1918.  My hope does not rest in the current, next, or future 
           president, it lies in Jesus.
1919.  An evening walk.
1920.  Still the fall leaves, what a gift.
1921.  A relaxing lunch reading a good book and eating sushi.
1922.  Calming David Nevue Pandora station.
1923.  More work, keeping me content.
1924.  Leah's message to Lori about the prayers of two special 
           little girls praying for Lori, S's, and V's.
1925.  Crock pot to borrow.
1926.  GB not frustrated with me.
1927.  Healthy lunch leftovers.
1928.  A tidied, peaceful home.
1929.  Picked up by Brooke.
1930.  Stood in line with Boltons.
1931.  Dinner at Brooke's table.
1932.  Seeing Sindy the second time this week.
1933.  Bluegrass band, super great impression of The Oak Ridge
           Boys.
1934.  A cappella version of "You Are My Sunshine".
1935.  Sitting on my couch chatting with Melissa D.
1936.  A few minutes of quiet time at Chick-fil-a.
1937.  Work keeping me busy all day.
1938.  Less than $6 new pair of pants.
1939.  Third parking space at Walmart on a Friday night.
1940.  Leaving Walmart without buying anything.
1941.  Good laughs with Christine and Nina.
1942.  Remembering hard seasons and seeing the growth produced
           by them.
1943.  A morning drive and good prayer time.
1944.  McKenzie's giggles.
1945.  Sitting in a car line to Bell Buckle for 45 minutes and not
           minding because it's quality, undistracted time with my 
           kindred spirit, soul dancer, and best friend Crystal.
1946.  Fair food.
1947.  Metal cups.
1948.  Pottery to drool over.
1949.  Homemade fried peach pie to perfection.
1950.  Fresh kettle corn.
1951.  A new, just right sized purse.
1952.  Resting McKenzie.
1953.  A chill night at home watching a movie with Melissa.
1954.  Seeing the cello guy again at the periwinkle house.
1955.  The last parking space.
1956.  In bed early on a Saturday evening.
1957.  A new favorite shirt.
1958.  Kinda real life infomercial guy.
1959.  My favorite spot at Burgess Falls opening up in time.
1960.  Thermal bag to keep my food warm.
1961.  Fall flowers.
1962.  Burgess Falls, a place to meditate on life and sort through
           thoughts and pray.
1963.  Time to finish my book, hike, paint, hang with Megan and
           Emily, and blog - all in a day.
1964.  Ella Kate's sweet grins.
1965.  Work day flew by.
1966.  Lunch time walk.
1967.  Pain subsiding.
1968.  Sweet potato fries.
1969.  Financially stable.
1970.  Discover rewards.
1971.  I have less money than I thought but still have a cushion and 
           I can breathe easier.
1972.  Christmas discussions of ways to give our time, make 
           memories and mum being a bit more on board.
1973.  Tilinia on Facebook allowing me to watch my nephew grow
           up.
1974.  Someone to pray with.
1975.  A good, smooth art class today.
1976.  A team of 6 to encourage.
1977.  Maryam giving me postcards of my favorite place!
1978.  Getting to borrow 'Saved By the Bell' season 1 and 2.
1979.  Realization that no matter who becomes president, we live 
           in a blessed country and that is more than many people can
           say.
1980.  Laurel Burch, in spite of rare bone disease that left her in
           bed or in a wheelchair said "I refuse to have anything in my
           life that I can't turn around into something magical and 
           beautiful.  I just refuse."
1981.  She considered her disease to be a gift.  What a sobering 
           gift to me.
1982.  Warm banana bread with friends.
1983.  A paycheck.
1984.  A cool day, perfect for forgotten deodorant.
1985.  Fall canopy.
1986.  'Rush Hour On the Escalante' by Jon Schmidt calming me.
1987.  Breakfast burrito.
1988.  Walking time, no gas used today.
1989.  A chance to speak truth.
1990.  An evening at home.
1991.  Hallowed by grace.
1992.  An entertaining boss.
1993.  Sweet emails that make me smile.
1994.  Enjoying the remaining bits of fall.
1995.  Boy buying dinner for his mom.
1996.  Super thoughtful and helpful Chick-fil-a customer service.
1997.  Getting to be real with my family and knowing they still 
           love me.
1998.  Hanging with the Cooks - laughter, good food, hangman,
           and good conversation. 
1999.  A companion for tomorrow night.
2000.  Delicious gumbo and a new piece of pottery.
